Agreed! Some of my friends can wake up and run for miles after taking years off. I can sprint and play soccer, but long distance running has baffled me all my life.

Great post! Also b/c North Park was my backyard for 9 years and I know all those shortcuts

I hate running too. I haven’t tried in years. I still go to the gym 3-5 times per week but running…blahhh!

I share your opinions about wanting to do it and to be the person who gets the “runner’s high” but just can’t.

I like your point of view though. Maybe I might have to try again sometime soon, weather is good for it now…

I completely agree with this article. I recently coached my sister-in-law through an interview. Simple things like printed copies of her resume on cotton paper and matching envelopes, a nice binder and pen can help to set a image of seriousness and preparedness. My sister-in-law did land the job and she credited it to some of the advice I gave her (although she is awesome herself). Take your preparation seriously and you will set yourself up for success.

Looking back…the physically out-of-shape bit seems to ring true to every poor employer/management I’ve experience.

This is a great post, and a good blog I’m glad I found. Many of these goals/focuses line up with myself (as Dimitry commented).

Except i’m more into short film/movies than photography. But they are similar nonetheless!
